International Women’s Day 2026: Bron of Bopo Women

International Women’s Day 2026: Bron of Bopo Women

International Women’s Day 2026 is a time to recognise the achievements, resilience and contributions of women around the world. This year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” invites us to imagine a gender equal world — one free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination, where diversity is embraced and differences are valued. One meaningful way we can help move toward that future is by supporting and celebrating female-founded brands that empower women through their work, leadership and community.

One brand that reflects this spirit is Bopo Women, an Australian self-care and skincare brand founded by Bron. The idea for Bopo Women came from Bron’s recognition of how many women struggle with body image and the pressure created by unrealistic beauty standards. Instead of adding to those expectations, she wanted to create a brand that encouraged women to reconnect with their bodies, practise self-care and embrace the belief that they are already enough.

Today, Bopo Women has grown into a much-loved body positivity and self-care brand, known for its thoughtfully crafted products made with natural botanicals and essential oils. The range includes plant-based, cruelty-free body oils, mists and bath rituals designed not only to nourish the skin but also to promote confidence and self-acceptance. Each product is created with the intention of encouraging women to slow down, take a moment for themselves and feel comfortable in their own skin.

As a female-founded Australian business, Bopo Women represents the kind of purpose-driven brand that International Women’s Day celebrates. Bron is part of a growing community of women building businesses that challenge outdated norms while inspiring and empowering others.

At The Cumquat Tree Gift Shop and Wild Posy, this same spirit can be seen in owner Joanne, who has built thriving businesses supported by a dedicated all-women team, many of whom have been part of the journey for years. Like many women entrepreneurs, both Joanne and Bron balance the responsibilities of raising families while growing successful businesses and creating opportunities for other women.

International Women’s Day reminds us of the power of women supporting women. When female founders champion each other and lift up their communities, they help create environments where women feel encouraged, valued and able to thrive.

This International Women’s Day 2026, we celebrate women like Bron and Joanne — leaders who are building successful businesses while fostering spaces where women feel supported, empowered and inspired. By recognising and uplifting the achievements of women, we take another step toward a more equal and inclusive future.
